IN VINO VERITAS

...ALL THE ROADS LEAD TO TRNAVA
Trnava is known as a Slovak Rome thanks to its numerous churches. It was also first free royal town in Slovakia. Local guide will tell you more about Trnava`s interesting history. Than you can enjoy lunch at the rustic restaurant. The tour continues to the Small Carpathians wine route, where you can taste different wine types. Be prepared for the visit to the Cerveny Kamen castle, which many directors have chosen for their fairy tales.

STEAM AND WATER
Imagine the whistle of the engine and the hiss of the steam from the valves! Nostalgic steam engine will make the route from Bratislava to Trnava an unforgettable experience. After the sightseeing in Trnava, you will continue by bus to the chateau Dolna Krupa with its beautiful park, where even Ludwig van Beethoven used to walk. After lunch visit the Beethoven`s museum in the garden.

SPA PIESTANY
Would you like to spend one day in the world famous spa? Than Piestany would be the right choice! On your way you will stop in Trnava - the Slovak Rome and than continue to the Piestany. Learn about the history of Piestany spa in the Balneological museum. Feel the atmosphere of both sides of the city by crossing the Colonnade Bridge. It is possible to arrange a bath or massage in the balneological centre.

TRENCIN - TRIP TO THE MIDDLE AGES
The sightseeing tour in the town Trencin is followed by a visit of the Trencin castle, medieval fortress built in the 13th century. Experience "Knight Lunch" at the excellent restaurant at the fortress base. After lunch you will have the possibility to see how the glass is made by visiting the glass manufacture in Lednicke Rovne.

NITRA - EX METROPOLIS OF THE GREAT MORAVIAN EMPIRE
City tour to Nitra includes visit to the Baroque Cathedral in the Castle area and the other significant sights of this oldest historical town on the Slovak territory. Nitra, as a centre of agriculture, houses the Museum of Agriculture with interior but also exterior exhibitions. A romantic lunch will be served in the Mojmirovce Castle. In the afternoon visit a beautiful botanical garden in Tesarske Mlynany and chateau Bojnice-probably the most romantic chateau in Slovakia.

THE DANUBIAN LOWLANDS
Visit the picturesque region called "Podunajsko" with many unique attractions. Climb to the ruins of Devin castle, the Slavic settlement overlooking the confluence of the Morava and Danube rivers. Discover the water mills, the typical relics of this area. Relax during the fish-picnic served in the labyrinth of the Danube`s river branches. Stop at the largest dam in Europe. Enjoy the atmosphere of the island formed between the old river-bed and canal of Gabcikovo dam.

KOMARNO - COURTYARD OF EUROPE
trip to the port town Komarno with its most significant monuments: the Old fortress, St. Andreas Gothic Church, the Old Town Hall and "Courtyard of Europe" - square with typical architectural styles from all parts of Europe. Possibility to take a thermal bath. Continue to Hurbanovo, famous for observatory and brewery. Excursion to the Slovak brewery "Golden Pheasant" including beer-tasting and refreshment.

STUROVO - ESZTERGOM - VISEGRAD
Our trip starts in Bina. Visit to the Roman rotunda with wall paintings from 11th century. Continue to Sturovo, crossing the Danube and visit the famous cathedral in Esztergom. Enjoy the medieval feast in Visegrad and use the opportunity to visit the castle ruins.
